When making modifications to the daisy I wanted to increase the vibrance of the pink and really have the viewers eye drawn to it. In order to get the attention to the daisy I increased the hue and saturation of the pink , I also decreased the amount of sunlight in the picture and increased the shadows. To darken the leaves around the flower I used the burn tool, which i really like because it gives me the freedom to control which area of the leaves gets darkest.
When modifying the sunset I used the adjustments of HDR toning, vibrance, and shadows and highlights. For HDR toning I did custom preferences so that the ripples in the water had precise edges. I used shadows to really create the black horizon of the shore; I love the contrast of colors between the black and the hue of reds pinks oranges and yellows that the setting sun creates. The shadow tool also helped to draw the eye to the paddle boarders by making them a bold black object within the water. I increased the vibrance so that the colors of the sun and sunset would pop from each other.
